I’m currently freelance, working with a number of clients specialising in news, documentaries and branded content.

For just under a decade, I worked at CNBC International, covering all kinds of news and feature stories across digital platforms and broadcast, across Europe and further afield, as a camera operator/video editor. I specialised in shooting and editing digital-first videos published to the CNBC website and social channels, as well as developing a multi-platform approach for stories incorporating live, pre-recorded and meticulously edited elements.

My work has taken me everywhere from fashion week runways to police cordons to presidential residences, from the Arctic circle to the Arabian desert. On occasion I’ve also produced and reported stories as well.

Prior to this I filmed on a series of Channel 5’s Traffic Cops, embedding with road policing units in Yorkshire.

As well as filming police engaged in high speed car chases, dealing with volatile situations, and rigging car cameras, I also supported with legals and compliance for the series.

I began my career working on BBC consumer journalism series Fake Britain and daytime formats The Sheriffs Are Coming and Oxford Street Revealed.

There I learned the essentials of shooting for broadcast and the foundations of solid journalistic practice, as well as providing technical support to multiple edit suites and leaving a creative stamp on programmes broadcast on the UK’s flagship TV channel.
